Job Description
Summary
We are a reputable consulting firm specializing in architectural and engineering services, licensed by the Board of Engineers Malaysia and Malaysian Institute of Architects. Our expertise lies in providing top-tier consulting services for civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering projects, encompassing comprehensive planning, design, pricing, contract administration, and supervision.
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals to join our team for an international investor project in Pekan Nanas, Johor.
Clerk of Works (COW) / Inspector of Works (IOW) (Civil & Structural; Architectural & Building Services)
(1~3 POSITIONS - CONTRACT UNTIL Dec 2024)
Responsibility
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and supervising construction work to ensure high-quality standards are met.
Requirements
To excel in this position, you should have:
*3-5 years of experience in building construction.
*Proficiency in monitoring construction and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
*Strong communication and coordination skills to liaise with contractors in the absence of the superintendent officer, client representative, and engineer.
*Ability to effectively convey instructions from architects/engineers to contractors.
*Competence in maintaining on-site construction documents and drawings for review by the superintendent officer, client representative, and engineer.
*Capability to assist consultants in liaising with local authorities on various relevant tasks.
**Applications from Junior Architects/Engineers (with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Building Engineering/Construction) are also welcome.
