Job description:
This candidate will develop designs, create working drawings and inspect project construction in Penang/Northern region of Peninsula Malaysia, in tandem with the main team in KL office.
Below is a breakdown of specific tasks needed:
- Development of drawings based on project owner requirements
- Coordination & liaising with main team and other disciplines
- Authorities submission works
- Admin tasks as necessary for coordination & teamwork purposes
- Travel between Batu Kawan office, project site, will be required,
- Conducting site visits to assess the progress of construction work and ensuring that it conforms to the approved designs and specifications
- Identifying and resolving any design or construction issues that arise during the project
- Preparing progress reports and presenting them to project managers and other stakeholders
- Collaborating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget
- Providing technical support to the project team and addressing any technical queries or issues that may arise
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, health and environmental regulations and standards
- Participating in project meetings and providing updates on the progress of design and construction activities
- Maintaining accurate records of all design and construction-related activities
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest design and construction techniques and materials, and incorporating them into project designs as appropriate.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills
- BIM knowledge preferrable
- (Please input other technical & non-technical skills)
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Languages: malay, english, mandarin (more credit)
